May 28, 2020 · Looking at the 2018 gt tune, there is probably a lot of truth to there not being much on the table. driver demand torque (and possible horsepower) is significantly higher than rated. once your octane adjustment kicks in there probably isn't much on the table. even the WOT lambda looks pretty good with 0.820 from 6,000 rpm and up.

Dec 24, 2008 · The advertised hp is with premium fuel(93). That said the iirc the car is tuned for 87 but the ecu makes some adjustments based on the octane it detects. If you want to see a real gain get it tuned for 93 or e85 (you'll need at least new injectors for e85 and the octane can swing depending where and when you get your e85).
